What this is
RMSP500 is a public record of my own trades. I follow a fixed, mechanical rule and report what I buy, sell and hold. The stock is picked by the rule (last year's best percentage return in the S&P 500), not by any assessment of whether it's a good investment.
What this is not
Nothing on this site, on YouTube or on X is investment advice, a recommendation or an encouragement to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument. Saying "not financial advice" isn't enough on its own, so to be clear: I don't assess your situation, and you shouldn't copy this.
My holdings and conflicts of interest
I always own the stock being discussed. My current position, number of shares and every transaction are published on the transaction page. I may benefit if the stock goes up. I don't get paid by any company mentioned, and I don't trade ahead of or against what I publish.
Method
The method is fully described on the rules page. Any rule change is logged publicly, and the original result series is kept.
Risk
This is a high-risk, undiversified strategy: 100% in a single stock. You can lose some or all of your money. Past performance, including last year's winning streak, says nothing reliable about the future. Currency moves, fees and taxes affect the result.
Regulation
The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) clarified on 23 April 2026 that private individuals who publicly discuss stocks and investment strategies can be covered by the rules on investment recommendations, even with a "not financial advice" label. This project is set up as documentation of my own trades, with clear disclosure of holdings, method and risk.
Data
Prices come from public market data sources and may be delayed or wrong. Official numbers are the ones in the transaction log, backed by broker records.
